I have created a search screen for searching documents. In the result page document names is displaying.. but i dont know how to open the documents. Because they dont have access for repository. then which path i have to give and how to open the document. can any one help me?....

Are you executing the search somewhere outside WorkSite MP? Who is the user account executing the search? Can you please provide more details?

Inside worksite only i am executing the search screen.. In the saerch result i am showing the result documents. how to open that documents.. which path i have to give.. In worksite how to repository path.... let me know if u have any concern..

I still did not get it. Can you please see if some of the out of the box searches are working? For example, when you execute a document search from adv search dialog, are you getting results? Are you able to click on the document links to open them?

How is your search different from the out of the box search? Please walk me through the steps you have taken to create and execute this search. If you have written custom search form/result jsp pages, please post them here as attachments.

Two things, if you click on the some document under Document Folder component, you will directly able to open the document but if you have search and you are showing documents in results, when you click you will forwarded to the document properties. I think this is your problem and you wanted to open the document directly in ms-word while clicking in document search results?

You can change this link which will directly point/open the documents from search component results.
