I am assuming that the custom menu would point to a servlet/jsp url. Please call the WOM apis from the corresponding servlet/jsp. Please create a new command similar to documentZoom one in the Config Tool and in the JSP page you can invoke WOM APIs. I would recommend wrapping the WOM code in separate java classes and invoking them from the JSP files (rather than having the code directly in JSP)

On the JSP page, you will have an authenticated AppSession (CMS Session wrapper used in Web Components) object stored as 'APP_SESSION' attribute. Use something similar to the following:

AppSession appSession = (AppSession) session.getAttribute("APP_SESSION");
Session cmsSession = appSession.getCmsSession();

The above code snippet should work on a WorkRoute JSP page too.

If we wrap the WOM code in separate java classes and invoking them from the JSP files, then how to register or put the java classes (****.jar) in the WSMP Web Comp. Server(Tomcat) so that we can invoke the function in JSP? After register the .jar in server, are we just importing the classes in the first line of JSP?

Once you are ready with your package, you cab commit, deploy and rebuild WSMP web application from Deployment Manager from WSMP Web Configuration Tool.

Does you mean that we put the abc.jar that containing the java servlet class in WorksiteMP Root Directory/WEB-INF/lib/ by Customized Files Manager, then we could call the java class function in JSP?

Yes, you need to rebuild and deploy new war also.

Yes, you are correct. Also you might have to add the corresponding import statements in the jsp page header.

you do not have to deploy the war file unless you want to transfer the current version of the customization into another installation (like migrating changes from staging to production).

We have put the following code in WorkRoute JSP Form:

But it fails. The JSP form cannot show up.

Any solution?
