Deploy Content to a Web Service

I'm a PM on a TeamSite project and we're trying to understand if you can deploy content from TeamSite / OpenDeploy to a Web Service.

Basically, instead of pushing the content out to a file system, can we push the content (as an XML file) to a web page URL (Web Service)?

If so, would TeamSite allow us to capture the returned message for processing?

Your requirements are not very clear..
Do you want TS to be a Web service client or act as a webservice itself (or both)?

You could write an adapter to deliver the files for consumption by a web service. Check out the OD manuals for more info. You'll need OD 6.0.1 at least and someone that can code in Java.

The adapter could handle the message being passed back to the client (e.g. the OpenDeploy adapter).

I want TS to publish content to a web service. I don't need TS to be a web service or be called by a web service. TS would call the webservice.
