Custom Import Action

Hi All,

I am using D6.5 sp3, I want to create a new Custom Import action with custom component.  My requirment is a new menu item in File menu which will enable when i select a dm_document type document and after import I want the object id of selected object. I am customizing "dm_folder_actions.xml" file by adding a new custom action but I am not able to apply the scope of  "dm_document" in this file because of this file is "dm_folder". Its possible to use two scope for one action.

Are you referring to import content (i.e. importing a new document) or import rendition for an existing document?

On a side note:

Would it not be easier to  customized the existing import component and leverage the considerable functionality  it provides?
