This question is related to my other thread about Notes-to-Documentum migration... (Please forgive a dumb question, but I am a Notes consultant who is new to Documentum.)
It appears there is no "native" Documentum file format, in the sense that there is a native Microsoft Word file format. MS Word expects documents to be a certain format (.DOCX for the latest version) although it can "import" other formats and convert them to native. Is Documentum different in that it is just a file repository, with the assumption that users have separate software to edit/read a file once it is retrieved??
