Understanding checkout

Hello all,

I'm trying to understand the check-out way of working.

Since a few weeks out serves are moved to an new location in a other country and ever since we can not checkout any file.

There are now some firewalls between the clients and servers where we have no control over.

Is there someone who can tell me how the checkout works, which ports are used? which check are being done?

Are you having trouble with import and view as well? If so, your issue is most likely related to UCF. There is a chapter on Content Transfer in the WDK 6.5 development guide.
