We all have applications running in our company, applications that have been around for a long time, applications that are read-only in the meantime, still we have to maintain them because they contain information we still need to have access to, for business reasons as well as for compliance reason. In Lisbon I will talk about how we can decomission these applications, free up hardware ressources, ensure compliance and keep us from having to buy hardware for outdated systems on eBay just because the law requires us to keep the applications running on these platforms.
