Where is proper location for Custom Tag definition file?

If you edit rules and browse for custom tag definition file, you are only allowed to browse in the webcabinet. However, it custom tag definition file is not part of website contents. It feels wrong to put it under web cabinet. Do you have to have custom tag definition fil in web cabinet? If it is the case, where under web cabinet is the proper location?

Assuming you're talking about a TLD file, you need to put it at the same location than the out of the box ones on the Webtop server, you'll need to restart your app server after

Making the same assumption as Francois, and assume you are talking about tld files

most folks put them in the "webtop\WEB-INF\tld" folder. I used to. Now I put them into the same layer as all my custom code, webtop\custom\tld. This way it is eaiser to pack up all your custom code.... just one sub folder

For the Jars, that would serve the same purpose as you described for the TLD's, only 1 folder to deploy
