Datadeploy should not create a table by its Own
Lal
Hi All,
Datadeploy automatically creates the database objects, if that object does not exists in the backend database server.
Is there any way to avoid that?
that is if there is no table exists the Datadeploy should not create a table by its own, instead it should throw error/log error
and should come to STOP.
NOTE : We are using TeamSite 6.1 and Oracle 8i under Windows 2000.

In a sense - if you don't give the DD user account permissions to create objects in the DB (such as tables, columns, rows?) then DD *will* error out when it attempts to perform those operations. Whether the error messages will be clear about what the problem is - is somewhat debateable (some errors are clearer than others).
This would clearly be in opposition to the instructions provided in the manuals - but if you're willing to explicitly do this - I don't see any reason why you cannot.
