Conditional workflow

I need help in workflow creation.
User submits the form. One of the field in the form should be a drop down having list of approvers. On submit, the form should go to the selected person.
Is there a way if I create a workgroup in the community and use it for the drop down and dynamically configure the workflow.

Yes, you can do this. The process is as follows:

In the template designer, just lay out each of the activity steps. In the activity step you want assigned to a specific individual, you will need to add an "Assignee script". The script would be of the form:
setActvityAssignees(getProcessAttribute("assignedUser"));

where "assignedUser" is a UDA of type string. The UDA must contain the name of the trustee. The UDA is populated by a workflow form.

To create a workflow form where the user can select the trustee, log into Forms Manager. For the first step, create a form and add a property of type "trustee". Associate the UDA "assignedUser" to the field.
