Metadata values

Hi there,

I'd come with an issue getting a metadata value for a certain custom created field (say brand name) for all the containers under root container.
Simply putting i need the metadata value for the metadata field 'brand name' for all the containers.
Unfortunately i could method getMetadata for entire service not for a particular container.

p.s. i looked up on the example given , do i have to create search constrains for it, i already know the fieldname of the metadata and i need its value.

Hi ,
Im still hanging out without figuring out a way.

As the introduction of metadata for container level as well, in the new version of mediabin how do i access for those metadata which is under the container level, i know how to get metta data for assets inside the container but not for the container itself.

Unfortunately, container metadata is not currently exposed thru the web service. I will add it to the list of features for our next release.
