Error msg
madmax
hi all,
One of my TeamSite users tried to download a file from TeamSite to her local machine. And then she got the below error msg:
Error downloading file newgameboy.pdf from TeamSite server.
Error connecting to server: 2435
Please contact your system administrator
My questions are :
1) so far i can recall there is a error list which explain the error code . for instance in my case -- my error code is "2435". the list is somewhere in documentation but i can not recall . so if anybody can recall of the error list then please let me know where should i get it.
2)what you think of the resolution of this problem.
Note: there is no connection problem with teamsite server. i as an admin don't have the same problem. so if i can get into the explanation of the error code then i believe - i can easily solve the issue.
thanks in advance

The error codes are listed in TeamSite CLT manula under "Error Codes" section.

In CSFMessages.properties here are the error codes
2435 = Password has expired (Windows only).
ExpandCustomerMaster.rptdesign
ExpandCustomerDetail.rptdesign

Thanks to batasari and nipper.
Windows password has expired today for that user .So she rebooted the system with new password and relogin to teasite and everything is working perfectly now.
question for nipper:
In ClT manuel i could not find error code 2435. Then i looked your reply again and you said
"In CSFMessages.properties here are the error codes
2435 = Password has expired (Windows only)."
how do you get into that error msg? can you be more specific about that error code. where can i find specifly "2435"error code explanation?
thanks again to nipper.
nipper
It is defined in the OD-home/CSF CSFMessages.properties file.
On unix you can do a recursive grep for 2435
not much more I can tell you there, if Todd Scanlon watches this thread he may chime in, CSF is part of his domain.

Thanks nipper.
If i am lucky then i'll get my reply from Todd Scanlon else i might open a new thread called "Looking for Todd Scanlon " .
By the way i did my recursive search on CSF folder but i did not get any CSFMessages.properties file.

Strange
Mine is in CSF/AccessService/lib
madmax
That is really strange . I mapped teamsite server to my local pc and used windows GUI serach utilities . And the search failed to find the file as you said it's in CSF/AccessService/lib.
Because when i mapped the network drive to my local pc it still caching files properties in windows file indexing system for search purpose which generally takes time depends on size of shared drive.
again if that shared network drive is not configured for search indexing then you can spend your whole life on searching the file without any results.
So the good thing is now there won't be any thread called "SOS todd".
Thanks nipper.
