Is possible to get the datatype
Sachin_Gajanan
HI friends,
I am working on my first workflow, so i am getting a few doubts. I am using Teamsite 6.5 on windows platform. I wanted to have an external task which calls an external script in which i am executing iwgen command inorder to generate the HTML file for a particular DCR and TPL file.
This workflow wiil be triggered on tt_data command, and this external task will be invoked first. So iwant to access from the external script the datatype of the DCR that was saved, so that programatically i can access the presentation folder and its associated TPL's, this i want to do programmatically, so is there any way to get the path or name of that datatype.
Thanks
Sachin

why don't you RTFM about the Extended Attributes. Try to inspect the extended attributes of a DCR and you will see some light.... As for the presentation template, you will need to know which TPL to use to generate your HTML file.. as there is no set name for a TPL. As a suggestion, if you name your TPL as the corresponding datatype, this could help somewhat

Hi,
As said by GREG, When you see extended attribute of a DCR, the last attribute i.e Location : contains Category/dataType.
Try to take that by any means to your ipl.
