Reuse latest template and viewset

Dear,

We are building different workspaces and viewsets and export as template for future use. But sometimes we find that some extended document properties are unused, in order to make the environment clean, we have to restore the DB and File server to remove unused properties. Then some working workspaces/viewsets will lose. We hope that we can import the workspace templates and viewsets again to minimize our effort. Is it feasible in WSMP?

You can always import workspaces/viewsets i.e WSMP made for.

What you could try is to clean some of the extended properties and then develop you workspace/viewset and import on new place, then I think this will work. This is my openion, haven't tried it myself.

Logically Yes, but for real scenario you may want to give a try.

It should work as the template creation engine tries to ignore the errors (of course, report them to user) and move on. There are so many other valid cases where all the template items cannot be imported into the new place, one example is users mentioned in the template being not present in target facility/workspace.
