Custom Object creation in Livesite.

Hi,

I am trying to create a custom component, which will refer to a custom object(a java class that extends com.interwoven.livesite.external.BaseExternal).
I wanted to know the location where the java class file should ne deployed/placed so that the custom object and method can be referred in the custom components Content XML section.
