Hi all,

many moons agao there was a third party product knocking about called Word Attributing Services(WAS).

Basically it synced object metadata to placeholders in a word doc and vice versa.

Im just wondering is the anything out there today that does similar (EMC or third party)??

if you are using xCP - then there are 2 xCP xCelerators that achieve just this.

even if you are not using xCP - the technique used in these xCelerators could be used in a WDK/DFC application

The 1st xCelerator is a set of 22 custom activities - to be used in a WF - and one custom activity replaces bookmarks in Word documents with custom content

The 2nd xCelerator uses XSLT to create XML documents that Word can interpret
