Taskspace & tree: how to make a_is_hidden=true sysobject invisible ?

Hello,

I have dm_sysobjects with a_is_hidden = true attribute. I don't want these objects to be displayed in my Taskspace application.

My taskspace application contains folder Content View component, and also enabled tree panel (tree view).

Based on esg103495, I'm able to hide my objects on the Folder Content View component.

But I really don't have any solution for getting the same in my tree view => all objects remain displayed, even the ones supposed to be hidden.

If I test with DA, no problem, hidden objects are hidden

Is somebody could have any suggestion ?

It is not valid to compare DA and Taskspace for functionality.

* DA is based on Webtop (which is based on WDK)

* Taskspace is based on WDK

Webtop has a preference setting to show or hide hidden items. You could try repeating this feature but customising the browser tree node is a pain.

your use-case seems valid - have you contacted support?

are they calling this a 'feature request/enhancement' - as apposed to 'opps we forgot to check the hidden flag'?

please do let everyone know if you make any progress in this regard
