Preview Error

Hello,

Environment : Solaris2.8: TS:6.5

using DCT and PT created on a TS 5.0 Env.

The Templating.cfg is appropriately configured.

Problem statement:
A DCR is created.
When the preview is invoked the following error is encountered.

"Preview And Generate Error:

XML parse error:

no element found at line 1, column 0, byte -1 "

Executing the iwpt_compile.ipl for the said template, throws up the following error
"<ERROR>
Could not open presentation template: iwmnt/default/main/ocbc/OT/WORKAREA/OT/templmtedata/OTHomepage/OThome/presentation/ot_homepage.tpl
</ERROR>"


(Edited to include the following statement)

The tpl has embeded #include statements. Is this the problem zone?

Hi,
did you try to generate output page with iwpt_compile.ipl?
Perhaps you can some more error information there...
Try to xml-check your tpl (with iwxml_validate.ipl...),
and/or attach your tpl to this thread.
Some more information about the template xml structure you can get in the tempate tag help on your TS server url /iw/help/tst/pt/
(I think, the iw_pt part is interesting for you...)
