com.documentum.xforms.engine.adaptor location?

Hi all,

I have some doubts in creating custom adaptors.

1. To compile the java program(adaptor java program), i need to import the abstract classes and interfaces which are in the package - com.documentum.xforms.engine.adaptor , which i guess is in the XformsEngine.jar file. However, my doubt is, to unjar it, wht is the procedure i need to follow (?) considering XformsEngine.jar file is present in the - C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\webapps\da\WEB-INF\lib folder.

2. Once i have compiled and got the java class(custom adaptor), where do i need to place it ( in which folder)

3. How can we obtain the dates inputted by the user on a form and write a code for an adaptor to calculate the difference between 2 dates.

r8 now iam facing with the same issue,what above u asked like diffrence between two dates,and how to write custom adaptor , and where to place it, can u have any solution on that?...

you just need to add the jar file to your project classpath

If I remember correctly, custom adaptors are deployed as SBO's (Check Forms Buidler 6.x development guide)
