File Format Filter in Webtop Import Component

Hi,

We have a requirement where we need to show only some of the formats in the "Format" combo box in Import Component(Webtop 6.5 sp3).

We tried using Presets option and we were able to show only the formats which have been specified in the presets.

The problem which we face is , depending upon the extension of the file which is being imported, the format corresponding to the file is also populated in the combo box.

Eg: Though we have specified only to show Acrobat Pdf format in Presets, we get Microsoft Word as one of the formats while importing a word document.

Please suggest if this can be handled in any configuration.

wHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO achieve? Sounds to me that Webtop is working as it should.

If you are trying to disable the import of not approved formats then you would need to do a customisation
