How to configure FrontOffice

I've installed and setup FrontOffice.
I configured the wwa.cfg for myself, ran iwreset -ui then tried stopping and starting teamsite but I still cannot use it.

In the configuration wizard -

1. specify the server name - seems ok
2. specify user/pass - seems ok

Next: Error - no workarea's configured for this user on this server.

I tried all sorts of permutations on how to specify the workarea - I then combined all of them in the one config, restarted teamsite but I still get the same error.

I can't figure it out - I've attached the config file.

Note : not sure if this counts but we autheticate using PAM. I don't think it's a problem because if I put in a wrong password I get a different error message.

I assume you named it wwa.cfg.txt so it can be read easily by us
can you try specifying name as DOMAIN\me

I have this working on Windows 2003 EE and TeamSite 6.5 SP1.

this is from a valid definition in the file, where our server name is TEAMSITE65:
\\TEAMSITE65\default\main\Ajuba\en_US\WORKAREA\Ajuba_Internet

I assume you have this already, but check iw.cfg to make sure you have something like this:
[FrontOffice]
auto_index=no
index_template_name=index_template.htx
wf_submit=yes
metadata_capture=no

Yes I renamed it to .txt

You mean as in the user name?.. This is a solaris box... Does front office want a server/domain name for the user??

I got server_log_file from an old devnet post, though it never gets created.

sorry the attachment is named wwa.cfg.txt but the file on the server is actually iw-home/conf/iwwa.cfg

OK - I tried the domain name for the user (even though this is solaris)

still got the same problem.

taken from a working solaris 2.8 server with TeamSite 6.1 SP1 and Front Office 5.6.2

path looks like this (intw02 is just the hostname, not full server DNS name):
//intw02/default/main/Ajuba/WORKAREA/Ajuba_Internet

iw.cfg has this:
[FrontOffice]
auto_index=no
index_template_name=index_template.htx
wf_submit=yes
metadata_capture=no

ummm well it looks like bozo here forgot how to spell WORKAREA (WORAKREA)
