Install Perl Module in iw-home

I'd like to use the DateTime perl library in TeamSite. I wonder what's the best way to install it into iwhome/iwperl/vendor/lib.

I know the DateTime library won't work by just copying the .pm files. It does requires compilation and installation (make and then make install)

see Date::Manip moudule documentation its installed default. Is there any specific reason for installing DateTime.pm module.

You should probably post perl-related questions in the perl forum.
If you need to install a module for TeamSite usage - it should get installed in iw-home/iw-perl/site/lib not vendor/lib (there have been a number of threads on this - with some differing view points)

If you are planning to use this to get time, you can use the perl time as follows

my $day = (localtime)[3];
my $month = (localtime)[4] + 1;
my $year = 1900 + (localtime)[5];
my $date = $year."_".$month."_".$day;

my @curr_time = localtime;
$time="$curr_time[2]_$curr_time[1]_$curr_time[0]";
return($date."_".$time);

What I need from DateTime module is to convert the system time to different timezone by cities (e.g. Canada/Vancouver vs. Canada/Toronto) with Day-time savings taken into consideration.

As far as I know, DateTime module is doing what I need, and now the question is, how can I bring it to iw-perl.
