Documentum XCP developer edition clarification

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to download the Documentum XCP developer edition software and bit confused why we have to enter credentials for downloading the developer edition.

Will downloading developer edition add to the my companies software acquiring list or will it just be a download without any cost charged to company.

Please clarify as I'm looking into exploring the XCP platform.

- Developer edition does NOT cost anything to anyone. The credentials is simply for EMC to track who downloads their software.
