I have a customer that is implementing a Taskspace solution that requires annotations for their content (PDF). As far as I see it, the possible solutions are to use the Brava viewer or the Deaja ViewOne viewer (both integrate into Taskspace for annotations). The problem is that the customer also needs to be able to view the content from a 3rd party application so I'm looking for a 'best practice' as to the best way to view this content (with the annotations intack) from the 3rd party application. This application is a web based application.
My first thought is to use DFS but the Brava or Deaja viewers are integrated thru taskspace so I do not expect DFS to produce the content-with-annotations as I need.
Another possiblity is to use the DRL component within taskspace. The caveat here is that it will require two calls to the taskspace app for every content request (one request for the DRL and then another to execute the DRL)
Is there a better way? Is there a way to reliably "flatten" the annotations onto the PDF and save as a rendition?
