Handle multiple repositories in WebTop

How i can add multiple repositories in the WebTop application and from the drop down list of the WebTop application before login into the Webtop application. I am trying to connect my costom Webtop application with multiple Documentum Content Server Application.

By default, WDK apps and Webtop apps will get the list of the docbases connected to the docbroker specified in the DFC.PROPERTIES therefore, you need to make sure that all the docbases that should be handled by your app point to this docbroker

HI,

Modify the dfc.properties of ur web application located in WEB-INF--->classes folder like this

dfc.docbroker.host[0]=host name1
dfc.docbroker.port[0]=1489
dfc.docbroker.host[1]=host name2
dfc.docbroker.port[1]=1489
dfc.docbroker.host[2]=host name3
dfc.docbroker.port[2]=1490

which will point to multiple docbrokers and fetches the repository list...

Hi Francois & Vyshu,

I have updated the webtop 'dfc.properties' file for both the repositories but files/documents of both the repositories are not visible in the webtop application and name of both repositories not visible in the drop down list of login screen of webtop application.

I want to know how we will change the name of default 'documentum' repositories of Documentum Developer Edition.

Now, that's the kind of information that could have helped us to give you an answer directly

Even though the Developper Edition is fully functional, it has some limitations, for example, creating/adding docbases and this kind of stuff. I guess it is because if you develop (which is its main purpose), you don't need to have hundreds of repositories, nor should it be used for production....
