xPlore IndexAgent installation failed with 'no global registry docbases found for host'

During IndexAgent installation after providing connection broker and docbase information (step g. on page 53 in Deployment Guide) we get the message 'no global registry docbases found for host' and cannot proceed. Our docbase has an active dm_bof_registry user, but we cannot find any dfc.properties in our xPlore installation (dsearch_home).

Restarting connection broker and repository does not solve the problem.

I too am having the same issue. I've tried following the instructions to restart the repository, docbroker and the index agent installer but nothing seems to help. The error continues. Same ContentServer version too. I hope someone can help here.

Make sure that the global registry repository that you specify in index agent setup projects to the same connection broker as the Content Server. (I see one of you already did that.) You do this by checking DFC.properties on the Content Server and on the index agent host. You may have more than one dfc.properties on either machine. If this doesn't help, please open a case so this can be speedily answered by the experts. If you do find the answer, please post so others can be helped, thanks.

Problem was solved by Customer Support.

In dm_docbase_config object, we had to set the attribute docbase_roles[0] = 'Global Registry'. This solved the problem.

We don't know why this setting was missing in our configuration.
