I'm looking for official or tested/validated information on the integration of Documentum with Atmos for storage. Googling showed some blogs posts about these two working together, but couldn't find any officially published material.
Have you tried looking at the Release Notes for the latest version of the Content Server (6.6)? Here's whats the release notes says:
"Content Server version 6.6 supports Atmos stores. An Atmos store is an EMC software storagesystem that consists of several distributed services running on a network of connected hardwarenodes. Each node is attached to one more disk enclosures. The nodes run a collection of services tostore, retrieve, categorize, and manage the data in the system or cloud. Content Server uses the ACSconnector to communicate with the Atmos store. The ACS module supports storing and retrieving ofcontent through an HTTP interface.
Users can use Documentum Administrator to create, view, and modify Atmos stores from theStorage page under the Storage Management node. For more information, refer to the DocumentumAdministrator User Guide."
Great, thank you. I did find some of this in your blog and also later found Documentum documentation on setting up Atmos as a file store.
