Making a custom attribute wrap in a folder display

Hello all,

This is probably a very simple question, but I'm not quite sure where to go. We have a custom attribute on an object, and the user would like that column to wrap on the folder display. I'm thinking that attribute would need to be added to doclist_body, but I'm not quite able to figure out where it would go or how to set it up. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction?

If you want wrap text, you probably will need to modify CSS (stylesheet) that is used by the component.

What version of Webtop are you working with ?

To display custom attributes in folder listings, there are two options

modify objectlist, to add the custom attribute to list of columns. Optionally you can make it visible or invisble by default, if invisible the user can choose to add to view in column preference dialog
modify display_preferences, to add the custom type to list of types in the column preferences dialog.

NOTE: Your attributes must be marked searchable to be displayed in the column preferences dialog

To enable text wrapping, you will have to modify the JSP, because pretty much all columns have limits in the about of text that can be display
