How can i improve the performence of DFS

Hi all,

          I am using MTOM content transfer service to upload the documents. I was tested with 39kb document continuously I was noted exicution time

First time: 58sec Second time: 48secThird time: 8sec

       I tried after one hour same document it was taking 28 sec. after 6 hours it was taking normal 58 sec can anyone suggest how I can maintain constant performance like 8 sec
