How to update the repeating Values

Hi All,

I am having 10000 document's in the repository. And keyword attribute value is empty. I want set the repeating keywords for the all the documents.

As of now the keyword attribute is empty.

How can I set with the help of DQL Query.

You can use the following DQL:

UPDATE dm_document OBJECTS SET keywords[0] = 'some value' WHERE ...

Be careful though. This query will set the first keyword-value of all those documents. If for some reason any document already has keywords, it will be overwritten at the first position!

EDIT: as David mentioned below, this is ofcourse if you want to set the same value for all the documents. If not you're better off writing an application to do it...

If you need to set each document to a different value, the best way would be to map those values to a excel or text file with the r_object_id of the document, and then loop through it with a java, C#, etc program updating each one individually, a bit more work, but way more flexible.
