Using Windows Domain Authentication From Content Server on Solaris

I have read the section "Using Windows Domain Authentication for UNIX Users" in the Content Server Administration Guide.  The process appears to be straight forward, and only requires recompiling the DM_CHECK_PASSWORD executable with a few new parameters.  I have downloaded the latest version of Samba from the Samba download site, but cannot locate the two files smbvalid.a and valid.h.  I have read other discussions here which just reference the Samba download site as the location.  Can someone please provide specific location/instructions on where to find those two files?  Thanks so much!

The files you actually wanted to download (i.e. just the library) are available through their website at:

http://samba.org/samba/ftp/pam_smb/

Their are multiple versions of the libraries available at that site. Once you download and compile one of the versions as per the steps you referenced from the CS Administration Guide, you will be able to find the smbvalid.a under the smbval directory and valid.h under the include directory. Hope this helps.
