install DateTime module for iwperl

I need a library that can convert the system time to different time zone by regional cities. It seems to me that the DateTime module is doing what I want. But I have a problem on install it to iwperl.

I tried to download DateTime module with the cpan command in iwperl. Here is what I did:

C:\iw-home\iw-perl\bin>cpan (** Should I use iwcpan or cpan here?? **)

cpan> get DateTime
(** DateTime-0.29 is downloaded, but latest version should be 0.30. How can I get the latest version instead?? **)

cpan> install DateTime

(** Unsatisfied dependencies are downloaded here...
DateTime-Locale-0.22
DateTime-TimeZone-0.36

(** When DateTime-TimeZone is built, two extra dependencies are discovered:
ERROR: Class:ingleton: Prerequisite Class:ingleton isn't installed
ERROR: Params::Validate: Version 0.67 is installed, but we need version >= 0.72)

As indicated above, Params::Validate in iw-perl is not updated. Any idea on how I should proceed from here?

If you need a newer version of the module - you can probably use CPAN to download and install it into iw-perl/site/lib which should come *after* iw-perl/lib but *before* iw-perl/vendor/lib in the OOTB @INC paths for iw-perl.

So as long as no other code that depends on Params::Validate has a problem with using the newer version of the module - you should be fine.
