Under TeamSite 5.5 environment, what would be the best way to enable/disable a required field by a Yes/No radio button of user's selection on fly in a template form? Many thank for any good recommendation in advance.

Just use FormAPI IWItem.setRequired(boolean) as per your value of User Selection before attempting to make the item enable or disable.

A serious hack. That API was not available until 6.5 so it seems that you would need to use classic Javascript to manipulate those values, wherever they are stored.

Dave, what kind of crack are you smoking today? onItemChange and setRequired is all you need...
