Forum search annoyance

available_templates.ipl seems to be ignoring the fact that I enabled DEBUG_MODE on it, so I figured I would come search the forums. I used

debug available_templates

as my search string, and it tells me that available_templates is either too long or too common to be used as a search term. How annoying is that?

Heh - I can see why something might be considred too short or too common - but I find it very odd that a search program would complain about a search term being too long (or too specific) - that does seem broken.

However - with respect to the question - I seem to recall that the debugging option in available_templates.ipl didn't seem to work in 6.5 (perhaps 6.x) and that it seemed as-if it weren't being called anymore. I do believe I posted a query about this (or perhaps it was a support case?) - but I don't recall any response or resolution that clarified the situation - and I managed to resolve the issue that was at hand regardless.

It would be nice to know if that functionality still exists - and whether it will exist in 6.7 when the whole 'role' concept gets blown wide-open, and in 6.7.1 when the new workflow-system comes into play ...
