Documentum 6.5 SP3 and Office 2007 File Format Support

I have Documentum 6.5 SP3 installed and from the Web Interface, I can upload XLSX and DOCX files however it will not let me open the file.  It does not seem to know of that file format.  How do you configure it to support it?  I have tried a new file extension but that does not work either.

You need to define new dm_format objects for the new file extensions and then associate the correct MIME value to launch appropriate 2007 app.
