Error :Failed to read server serial number

Hi All,

We have installed the Input accel serve 6.0 sp2.

While trying to load "Administrative console" we are getting "TCP/IP Network error".

And on the server console error is :"Failed to read server serial number"

Kindly suggest any solution to resolve the error.

I read the Installation guide according to that we need to activate the server and the steps are as:

5.1. Start the administration console.
5.1.1. Using Internet Explorer, navigate to the URL of the administration console
(http://localhost).
5.1.2. Once the logon screen appears, enter dmadmin for the Username, training for
the Password, and your computer name or a period (.) for the Domain. etc....

when I run the URL http://localhost TCP/IP error appears.

And on the background server console error is there as "Failed to read server serial number".

Before activation I need to have the license key?

and how to get that?
