Administrating SCS

I just installed SCS on my Content Server and noticed that unlike the documentation, I don't get a node in DA called Site Configuration. Rather I get a node called Content Delivery, which has 2 sub-nodes called IDS Administration and IDS Configuration. When I look at IDS Configuration, it has a SCS Configuration Template object that I cannot copy, but can update with my SCS configuration setup.

Did I do the SCS install and dar install properly?

I'm confused because I'm basing my install on the SCS 6.5 install guide, and it says I should get a node called Site Configuration underneath the main Administration node.

I'm on SCS 6.5 SP1 and CS 6.5 SP3.

SCS (Site Caching Services) has been renamed to IDS (Interactive Deployment Services) post 6.5 SP2 release.

It is better to keep your Content Sever and IDS versions are same, so that there will not be any issue in refering the documents.

Thanks for the confirmation. Sorry...didn't mean to post that I was on CS 6.6 and SCS 6.5 SP3...I put everything on 6.5 for compatibility reasons.

So is your DA 6.5 SP3? I'm guessing with 6.6, they renamed SCS to IDS in DA. Who knows if they have made other changes. As stated before, you should have all your products on same version to eliminate inconsistencies across product versions.

Yeah...DA is 6.6...

I realize it is safer to have everything at the same level, but this is for the xCP xCelerator Challenge, so I am trying to push the envelope here.
