problems with installing documentum form

Good afternoon, is pleased to communicate with you, I'm new to the forum and need assistance with regard to EMC Documentum, a banking job.
Documentum suite that I have is 5.3 SP5, unfortunately this version does not have Forms Builder for creating and editing forms.
Is there another way to make forms and integrate documentum, to work as templates without the need to use Forms Builder? I'm using the Builder application but I need to install Documentum a form, the question is: how do I get but I have a native tool Forms Builder?. Is there another way?.

- Yes, you can build your and then try to integrate it within Webtop. Lots of work. Not sure why you would do this when the product already supports this (at newer version). Tell your client that upgrading 5.3 version, which is no longer supported, will get them this functionality out of the box with no worries about custom code, support, etc.

- I presuming you are referring to Documentum Application Builder. App Builder is designed to "package" all the configuration/customization objects into a docapp. It is not designed to support Forms. Forms Builder was built to build forms. In order to use Forms Builder, you will need to upgrade.

and ... if the form is imported as Java object in the Application builder, what happens is not possible to update the version of Documentum 5.3.
for this reason I wanted to know if there was another way to install a form in Documentum 5.3.

It doesnt matter if you "install it" if 5.3 doesnt know how to handle it.

handle it, I know that I have is the form builder tool.
workflows are designed, properly managed documentum.
all we need is to know how to upload and install a form without form builder.
Would you please explain, if not too much trouble?.

My point is you cant. You were talking about having form as java object that you can include in App Builder. My response is sure, you can import the java form, but since 5.3 doesnt understand it, then it wouldnt work.

Hello good night, sorry so late and time to answer, I wanted to ask if there will be a wayto implement dreamweaver cs4 with documentum 5.3 to design a form?. and if so, howwould I? Sorry for the inconvenience.

You can create a form using dreamweaver just like you can create a form using Word. The problem is that it wont be integrated with Webtop. The form instance will be stored in the repository as binary content; similar to html document.

sorry so much trouble, and sorry for the time you've had here, definitely the Forms Builder necessarily need to integrate and manage forms in Documentum 5.3 sp5, right? that's the only effective solution? if there is another solution I'm willing to listen.

Any other way would require a lot of custom coding. Why reinvent the wheel when there is already a product (ie Forms Builder) that satisfy your requirement.
