MS SQL Deadlocks

We just switched to using MS SQL for event logging for TS 6.5 and OD 6.0.1. We are now seeing deadlocks within MS SQL and events are not being logged. Any clues?

OS: MS 2003 Enterprise Edition
TS: 6.5 with SP2
OD: 6.0.1

Hi Dan,
we had an strange behaviour in our TS6.5 / MS SQL 2000 environment:
Sometimes events are not written in the "messages" table of our events database,
if we use the SQL Server Enterprise Manager tool to view the "messages" table.
At present it is unclear why we sometimes have such a blocking mechanism and sometimes not.
Don't know if you're using the Enterprise Manager for administrating your db, but perhaps this information helps you.

Do you have any further error messages in your event error log?
