Just a shot in the dark. I have noticed some oddities with absolute paths. Try removing the
first slash.

consider yourself lucky

I found a senerio where having a double slash in the beginning deletes your
whole docroot

i.e. delete //html/fish.html to /docroot/html deletes /docroot

needless to say I used my one "Delete Prod Site and Don't Get Fired" card

We found the double-slash thing over a year ago - in 5.6.0 [no-SP] - Bug #43592 - I thought that was fixed with a patch (#1377) released 2003-08-15 that went on top of 5.6 SP1 (we fixed the situation that caused the filelist to get generated that way - so haven't run into it again since) --- Check with Support on this - feel free to use the #'s mentioned above for reference (and/or support case #1138006)

I figured out why the files deleted = 0 -- I removed the leading '/' too early in my code :-) I needed to make sure it got remeoved *after* I removed the areavpath from each entry that's going to get put into the filelist - Doh!

Since you're running a filelist deployment, try using /.iwmnt/default/...

In the OD 602 Admin Guide, page 117, it talks about using the /.iwmnt prefix to prevent possible inconsistencies that might otherwise arise from file and attribute caching.

Using /.iwmnt seems to work - (I have code that verifies files were deleted in /iwmnt before proceeding to the deployment - so it should *not* have to use /.iwmnt IMO - however ...)

Now I have to figure out what the DD component of this deployment does not seem to be getting the value of one of the metadata fields (for a file that was *not* deleted [nor intended to be deleted])....

If I do an iwextattr -g TeamSite/Metadata/Status on a particular file in the workarea and in staging I see:archivedyet if I look at the DD logfile (DNR script running iwodcmd converted from old iwdd.ipl command) I see:DAS: Parameter Index: 29, Value: (null)
DAS: Column: Status, field: TeamSite/Metadata/Status, Index: 29,Converting '' to VARCHAR Sigh ...
