Urgent: Wildcard search in webtop6.5??

Hi All,

I need to check if wildcard search like 'AB*EF' is possible in search / advanced search components of webtop.

I know this contains key word which is useful but I need some confirmation about possibility of search like 'AB*XY' where in search result will return documents starting with AB and ending with XY.

Hi Prashant,

If full-text indexing is implemented, then you can use the '*' character as a wildcard, searches like 'AB*EF' is possible. If full-text indexing is not implemented, wildcard search is not possible.

you want to search on document name ??? YES?

Set up an advanced search with 2 attributes, AND them

Name, Begins With, AB

Name, Ends With, XY
