Is it possible to have more than one VFE area active at a time?

My issue is that when my users are using the templates, there are multiple fields that allow them to user VFE in. They have the need to copy from one field to the other field a fair amount. In order to do this, they have to click in the one area, wait for VFE to open up in that area, copy what they need, click in the other area, the first area now closes VFE and the second one opens it up and they can then paste. Now if they want to copy something else from that first area, they have to click back in that area again, wait for the second VFE to close and the first to open back up again.

Is it possible to keep both VFE areas active at the same time?

We're on 6.1 on a Win2K3 box.

You can replicate the visualformatconfig.cfg (with new name and your changes) and reference this filename in your DCT.

That's not correct.

From 6.x onwards only one VFE field is ever running. That single VFE control services all the VFE enabled textboxes by moving with the focus.

I apologies, my interpretation was wrong. I was talking to have multiple VFE with different configutation xml files but the question here to attend the 2 VFE area at same time. 6.x onwards only one VFE field would active at a time.

unless you want to blow up your users browsers, id stick with 1 vfe loaded at a time anyway...such is the price for stability/performance
