Error when trying to import to documentum using DFC

Hi All,

I have written DFC code to import documents to documentum. It is working fine with composer, but I want to create DOS script to run the java file. when I tried to do it Iam getting error as java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com.documentum.com.IdfClientX . I have added dfc.jar and log4j.jar to the classpath. Could someone help me in this regard..

Strange that the error thrown is this:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com.documentum.com.IdfClientX

If I remember correctly, the class should be IDfClientX (upper case D). Maybe Composer is more lenient than java. Try changing your code with upper case D.

Sorry I typed wrongly..

This is the error,

Excveption in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com/documentum/com/IDfClientX

caused by:java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com.documentum.com.IDfClientX

I have included dfc.jar,log4j.jar in the classpath, but still iamgetting the error........

Did you put location of the dfc.properties file (eg c:\Documentum\config) in windows PATH? The dfc.properties file is needed for client to locate the appropriate Content Server, as well as other settings.

I have included dfc.properties file too..but still getting the same error......

I have seen from the discussions that dfcbase.jar need to be included, but when i tried to locate dfcbase.jar I couldn't able to see.

but it is running properly, if Iam using eclipse.But I want create a batch file.......Help me...

Included dfc.properties in my classpath and also log4j.properties.I have tried out all the things....Its running fine in composer....help me please

Please find attached text file which consists of script.Iam using JDK1.6, Content server is not installed on my local machine.........................Please let me know what are the other jars I need to add for classpath.
