Making Daeja Viewer as Default Viewing Applciation for documents

Hi All,

I have done integration Daeja Viewer ViewOne with Webtop 6.0 by customising context menu. This will launch a new component and user can see his/her doucment in daeja viewer in new window.

Now, I have a requirement to make Daeja Viewer as a default viewing application for all documents(mainly docs will be either in .tiff or .pdf format). When a user selects a document and double clicks on it, it should get open in Daeja Viewer instead of Microsoft Picture Manager.

Has anyone done this before, please let me know if you have any ideas on this.

Have you looked at the webtop app.xml? Most of the global settings are defined in that file.

I did not see any relevant infomation in app.xml file :-(

viewing applications for formats can be defined in Formats section of preferences.

pretty sure default viewing apps can be defined in app.xml as Johnny says... go look again..... if not then customise main and set users viewing preferences... examine the formats code to see how EMC does it

It may be app.xml under wdk. Webtop sits on top of WDK, so setting might be part of the WDK framework.
