DCR image not showing
bcvbbbjnn
Hi
We are using Teamsite 552. In a dcr we are embedding some images. Using a tpl file we are tring to view the page.Page is appearing but with no images embedded in the same.
I checked iw.cfg the configurations are as follows:
[iwproxy_remap]
global_default_map=/
[teamsite_servlet_ui]
servlet_host=localhost
servlet_port=9090 # teamsite will use default port as 8080 so does it needs to be changed as 8080?
[iwproxy]
customer_webserver_host=localhost # does this needs to be changed as <SERVERNAME>
iwproxy_host=localhost
iwproxy_port=1080
customer_webserver_port=81
Is the image not coming in preview because of these reasons.

I think, this is not the configuration issue, cross check your image path.
Thanks Nicholas

hi nicholas
i cross checked the image path it is correct only...
Nicholas
hmm...okay then attach your DCT and TPL code. May be I can find out something.
Also tell your image path where you kept your images?
Thanks Nicholas

Is there a place-holder for the image appearing in the generated page? or nothing where you expect an image to appear?
My guess is that there's something wrong with the PT or some aspect of the configuration of the customer web server for proxying images.
We'd probably have to see the DCR, the PT, and the generated page along with some idea of where the generated page looks wrong - in order to provide better suggestions.

awizardly
I am guessing that you have something like
[global_default_map]
_docroot=/htdocs
in your iw.cfg
If that is the case then all of your image paths as selected by the browser element in the DCT will have /htdocs in the path. This will render as /htdocs/htdocs to the webbrowser when going through the iwproxy. You will have to strip the /htdocs from the image path in your presentation template before inserting into your
within the presentation templates.
Our team created a perl function that stripped the path to make the tpl code cleaner.

Try out this..
Incorrect Port Setting Prevents Preview of Images in TeamSite
In iw.cfg, if a user has "customer_webserver_port=80" or any port other than what the virtualization webserver is running on (typically port 81), they will be unable to preview images in TeamSite. Port 80 is incorrect in TeamSite 5.5.2. Change to "customer_webserver_port=81" to solve the issue.
