Throw Custom Error msg to webtop interface from TBO /SBO

Can we throw Error with custom msg to webtop interface from TBO /SBO. and stop the operation being done.

like say in doSave method i want to cancel the operation meaning document creation / save should not be done and also have to give custom error msg to the user in webtop interface.

please let me know, if you know how to achieve this.

yes ... just add throw new DfException ("CUSTOM MESSAGE") ...

and ofcourse the exception has to be thrown before you call super.dosave() to stop save operation ..
