Webtop-Administration Node Customization

Hello Guys,

In Webtop 6.0, I want to implement similiar kind of funtionality as Administration Node.

Want to develop a new Browser Tree Node as

-Access Management

-Group Management (Only custom Group will available,User can create,add and remove member)

-Permission Management (Only custom ACL will available so user can update permission on ACL)

default Adminitration node will be there as it is, want to add new custom node Access Management and its child node.

please help me using default Administration node/component, How we can develop above mentioned new node with custom feature.

Not sure if 6.0 had this feature, but with 6.5 there is a feature called "Admin Access", which you can configure to give admin node access to other users/roles.

Why put node under Administration. Why not have it as a top level node? With 6.5 Webtop I did this for reports. I based my code on the Administrator.

I know this feature is available in 6.0 & 6.5. I am looking is

-default Administration should be same it is and want to add new node parallel to Administration thats functionality would be same as

Administration.

but want to removeUser Management, filter Group(should show custom group), filter Security (should show custom ACL only) from Administration.

My question is to achive this how I can use existing Administration node compoment for customization.

- You would need to customize Browsertree control. Find out the actual name of the administration node, extend it and give it a different name, and then add it to the browsertree.
