MediaWorkSpace and data dictionary attribute labels population problem

Hi all.

Recently we have deployed MediaWorkSpace application, but there seems to be a problem.

Although attribute labels are correctly configured through Composer, it seems tha MWS is ignoring them, and renders just the names of the attributes. Attribute order and visibility is the one defined through Composer though...

Content Server (6.5 SP2) & Application Server (Tomcat 6) are installed in different machines, and dam & webtop installed on the same application server as MWS show attribute labels correct.

Also, in Type column, either Document or Folder is displayed instead of the object type name configured through Composer.

Any suggestions?

Have you run the data dictionary publishing job and restarted tomcat afterwards?

Yes.

I also cleared any cache found on the server, but this didnt work. It feels strange to me that webtop & dam installed on the same server see labels correctly. Does it have something to do with the fact that MediaWorkSpace works with web services at a point and not through DFC (or I have it all wrong...)?

It could be. I would submit a ticket to EMC; this should be something that they can quickly verify if its a bug or not.
