Trusted login timeout

Is there a way to set the length of the timeout before Trusted Login attempts will fail? Right now it seems like it's around 15-30 seconds, and we'd like to shorten it. Our goal would be that if it fails after 5 seconds, then it would perform a manual login.

The API's only support a timeout property for searching -- not for logging in.
