developing a standalone application

I am learning to use DFC in standalone application, I would appreciate any guidance on doing this, below is the code I have put together from documentation and some of the forum suggestions, however it does not work properly, it displays one cell repeatedly, if anyone has time to look at it and guide me through please, I would like to know how to do it correctly rather than just getting complete code(commented code would be ok ), i have attached the C# project folder

My book discusses this topic in depth. It is a little dated (2005) and all of the examples are for DCTM 5 and VB6, but I don't think you will have any trouble translating it to VB .Net or C#.
